About us
Ouria Fertilizer Limited was created in 2022 to address two areas of need within Nigeria. Natural gas is still being burned off as a waste product in many areas of the country. This is an environmental concern as well as a financial waste of a valuable natural resource. Secondly, global food product supply chain issues have led to shortages, inflation, and high prices in the markets while much of Nigeria’s arable land yields are well below industry norms.
Ouria Fertilizer Limited will enhance the use of the Nigerian land, natural and human resources to significantly increase domestic food production, reduce shelf prices, reduce waste, and increase agricultural employment across the country. This increased domestic food production will further reduce the need for international shipping of imported food and reduce global environmental emissions.
